A cooperation agreement to support Yemenis with disabilities and improve the skills of workers in the field was signed Tuesday in Riyadh
It aims to provide advisory services for launching medical rehabilitation centers for people with different disabilities in Yemen, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Prince Sultan, the head of the Saudi Children with Disability Association, who signed the agreement with Mohammed Al-Jaber, the general supervisor Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen, SDRPY acknowledged that the agreement aims to share expertise, promote partnerships and organize activities to improve community integration for Yemen’s children with disabilities.
SDRPY continue to support persons with disabilities in Yemen and recently it provided support for various community activities that serve 413 beneficiaries.
It sponsored 263 development projects and initiatives, covering 8 sectors, namely: education, energy, transportation, water, agriculture and fisheries, and supporting and developing government capabilities, and development programs, in 16 Yemeni governorates.
