World Health Organization – Regional Office for Eastern Mediterranean’s latest EMR Polio Bulletin reported that 1040 cases of Acute Flaccid Paralysis (AFP) were reported in Yemen during 2025 compared with 1541 in 2024.
It also reported that a total of confirmed 408 cases of none Polio AFP was found during the same period. While Laboratory investigation of AFP cases with paralysis onset during 2025 were 387 with specimens
